Design & Execution
This project posed unique design challenges due to the complex roof layout, which featured multiple aspects and varying shading throughout the day. However, our engineering team’s expertise and attention to detail ensured that these obstacles were overcome.
To address shading, we installed Tigo Optimisers, allowing each panel to perform independently and maintain maximum efficiency even when partial shading occurs. Our engineers carefully modelled sunlight patterns and used advanced software to determine the ideal panel placement for optimal performance and aesthetics.
The 20kW KSTAR Hybrid Inverter paired with 40kW of battery storage provides an advanced solution for managing energy generation, storage, and consumption — ensuring Whelehans Wines benefits from both daytime solar production and stored energy during evening trading hours.
