Resolute Engineering Group was proud to partner with St. Conleth’s Park, the iconic home of Kildare GAA, to design and deliver a high-performance solar PV system tailored to the energy demands of a busy stadium. With significant electricity usage on matchdays—powering floodlights, broadcasting, facilities, and crowd amenities—reducing grid reliance was a key goal of this project.

Design & Execution

The installation was carefully engineered to suit the structure of the stadium’s trapezoidal roof. The Schletter Clampfit Pro mounting system was selected for its strength, non-penetrating design, and compatibility with this roof type—ensuring a secure fit while protecting the existing roof surface. Our team installed 80 AE Solar 475W panels, chosen for their durability and performance in variable Irish weather conditions. Energy from the system is optimised and managed through a 30kW Solis String Inverter, delivering consistent and reliable solar energy conversion.
