Solar for Warehouses Ireland
Warehouse energy bills are climbing and your roof is doing nothing about it. Resolute Engineering Group designs and installs commercial solar PV systems that turn large warehouse roofs into on-site power plants, cutting your electricity costs from day one.
SEAI certified, 15+ years in business, and backed by Ireland’s only 25-year maintenance contract.

Cut Your Installation Cost with
Grants and Tax Relief
Irish businesses installing commercial solar PV can access the SEAI Non-Domestic Microgen Grant and claim the Accelerated Capital Allowance, which allows a 100% tax write-off on qualifying equipment in the year of purchase. Resolute handles the full grant application process on your behalf.
€162,600
SEAI Non-Domestic Microgen
Up to €162,600 in grant funding per site for commercial solar installations. Open to warehouse owners and operators across Ireland.
100%
Accelerated Capital Allowance
Claim 100% of qualifying solar PV equipment cost as a Year-1 tax deduction. Stackable with the SEAI grant.
Turn Your Largest Overhead Into a Long-Term Asset
Warehouses have exactly what a solar PV system needs. Large, flat roofs with minimal obstructions provide the ideal surface for a high-capacity array. The energy profile works in solar’s favour too: lighting, loading equipment, refrigeration and climate control all draw heavily during daylight hours, which is when your panels generate most.
Lower Energy Bills
Generate your own electricity on-site and reduce what you draw from the grid. With SEAI grants and the Accelerated Capital Allowance available, the upfront investment is lower than most warehouse owners expect.
Price Protection for 25 Years
Grid electricity prices are unpredictable. A solar PV system locks in a fixed cost of energy for 25 years or more, giving your business long-term certainty that the grid cannot match.
Increased Property Value
A commercial property with an active solar installation is worth more on the open market. It signals lower operating costs and forward-thinking energy management to prospective buyers or tenants.
Stronger Green Credentials
Customers, investors and supply chain partners increasingly expect businesses to demonstrate sustainability commitments. A visible solar array on your warehouse roof is tangible proof of action, not just policy.
Bifacial Panels, Battery-Ready Systems
Resolute installs bifacial (glass-on-glass) panels exclusively, sourced from AE Solar and Longi. They generate from both faces, capturing reflected light from roof surfaces and surrounding hard standing, for a higher annual yield per kWp than conventional panels. They also carry a superior fire-performance rating, important for warehouses storing high-value stock.
For warehouses running 24/7 operations, battery storage is a practical addition. It reduces grid reliance during expensive peak-rate hours and provides a buffer if generation dips. We integrate battery systems with hybrid inverters, sized to your energy profile and operational patterns.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Going Solar from Resolute Engineering Group. As a small family home B&B with many hips, valleys and dormers on main roof and limited space around house required for car parking some imagination was required and Going Solar came up with a plan on a budget to deliver us up to 11,000 kw of power annually via an Anker solid inverter and 20kw of battery, while housing our 25 solar panels on 2 carport structures. On completion the carpark was returned to pre arrival condition and our carbon footprint was slashed by up to 11000 tones a year. On power cuts with change over switch the batteries can keep our home lite for days. Soon Anker app will be updated to automatically fill batteries from any source when Met Eireann issues a red weather warning. Resolute engineering kindly threw in a 21kw zappi 3 phase car charger when doing the install. We had some drama during install that many would have walked from but @ResoluteEngineering @goingsolar saw the project through delivering a finished product any team could be proud of. Yesterday SEAI inspectors called and said top class finish, nothing left out, an install that makes their job easy Thanks to every one who had a part to play in our install at Going Solar @ Resolute Engineering https://resolutegroup.ie/Posted on Google Tom DonagherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A big thank you to the team for a very efficient and professional install yesterday. We're delighted with our system and surprised to see that our battery charge went from 25% to 79% today with solar alone, despite the awful weather. We also really appreciate the excellent advice on the size of system to go for and the best panel arrangement; we found the consultation process to be technically far superior to the sales talk of the other solar companies we spoke to.Posted on Google Finola O'RourkeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very professional, well installed and easy to work with on grants etc. The panels are working great since installation earlier this year. I would definitely recommendPosted on Google Brian Tonge

Custom Solutions for Difficult Sites
Naas Sport Centre
Resolute designed and installed a solar PV system at Naas Sport Centre, engineered around the facility’s mixed-use energy demand across pool filtration, floodlighting, HVAC and hot water systems. All installation work was scheduled around the centre’s programme to avoid disruption to members and bookings.
Typical Warehouse Solar Returns
Figures below model a typical 200 kWp warehouse installation using Irish commercial yield ranges (850 to 950 kWh per kWp per year) and the 2024 average business electricity rate of €0.23 per kWh. For reference, Resolute installed a 128.65 kWp system at the Domino’s Pizza Distribution Centre. Actual performance varies with site, load profile and grant funding.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most warehouse roofs are well suited for solar PV. We assess your roof structure, orientation and condition during a site survey to confirm suitability before any work begins.
Cost depends on system size, roof type and access requirements. We provide a detailed quote after a site assessment so you have full clarity before committing.
The SEAI Non-Domestic Microgen Grant supports commercial installations up to €162,600 per site. The Accelerated Capital Allowance also allows a full tax write-off in year one. We handle all applications.
Most commercial rooftop installations do not require planning permission in Ireland. We confirm this during the design stage and manage the process if permission is needed.
Timelines depend on system size and site conditions. A typical warehouse installation takes a few weeks from design sign-off to commissioning, with minimal disruption to your operations.
This depends on your energy usage and system size. Solar will significantly reduce your grid dependence, and battery storage can extend coverage further. We confirm projected output after a site survey.
Scheduled maintenance visits, real-time performance monitoring, inverter health checks, component replacement, and full lifetime support for the entire 25-year panel guarantee. No other installer in the Irish market offers this.
